2024 Female Football Tour - Spain

This tour is only for those female football players who are serious about their football future. This is not a holiday, it is a business trip. Players will be pushed in practice, expected to play their best at all times and take care of their bodies, just like a professional club academy player.

Our goal is to give TSK Football Management players the best platform to pursue a European team placement. Our coaches will be right there to support you through it all.

What is included in the fee:

• International return flights from Sydney to Madrid and domestic travel by train from Madrid to San Sebastián and back
• Accommodation throughout the duration of the trip
• Three meals per day throughout the duration of the trip
• A private bus throughout the duration of the trip
• Train with and play against the women academy teams of Athletic Club de Bilbao, Real Sociedad and Eibar
• Genuine opportunity to be scouted and potentially be offered a trial by the Directors of Football of Athletic Club de Bilbao, Real Sociedad and Eibar
• Complete training kit that incudes:
  • a polo shirt
  • tracksuit jacket
  • playing jersey
  • shorts
  • socks
• Tours around the facilities of the clubs
• One female footballer from each club to sit down with the girls and provide her perspective on what it takes to become a female professional football player
• Potential to attend a women professional match in the stadium
• Social activities in the beautiful city of San Sebastián that include fantastic festive activities like “Semana Grande” among others
• A tour leader and a female team manager

Rules and expectations

There will be strict rules in place for all players to abide by. This includes but not limited to the prohibition of consuming alcoholic drinks, smoking and going out at night. All player movements will be strictly controlled by the Tour Leader and Team Manager.

This is a tour to provide talented female Australian players with a very unique opportunity to showcase their talent in one of the most successful footballing nation in the world and the expectations of TSK Football Management is that players will conduct themselves in a manner that would suit the occasion.

A further detailed document about rules and expectations will be provided to players/parents when they receive the invitation to register/pay for the tour, for review and signature.

Your tour leaders

The tour will be led by/the team will be coached by TSK Football Management MD who holds the prestigious AFC/FA A Diploma and who has over 30 years of experience in the beautiful game as a player and a coach.

There will be a female Team Manager who will assist the Tour Leader with all administrative tasks and ensure that the girls are being well looked after at all times.

All team leaders have a Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Travel dates and locations

Here are the travel dates and location details for the tour:

City: San Sebastián (Basque Country)

This city, also known as Donostia, lies along a white sandy bay between the Urgull and Igeldo hills. The province of Guipuzcoa, of which San Sebastián is the capital, blends sea and mountains, offering the traveller landscape, sports and cuisine, as well as interesting monuments.

Basque Country: The Basque country is renowned for the top quality coaches it has produced throughout the years with managers like Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Unai Emery (Aston Villa) and Xabi Alonso (Bayer Leverkusen) to name a few.

Accommodation

We are proud to partner with Colegio Mayor Olarain for the duration of your stay. Olarain is located on the Donostia campus of the Basque Country University which is next to Tecnun, of the University of Navarra and Musikene.

Your tour fees are:

$11,440 AUD including GST

• Deposit of $1,500 ADU with registration (non-refundable*) – due by 15 February 2024
• 2^nd payment of $2,485 AUD – due by 15 March 2024
• 3rd payment of $2,485 AUD – due by 15 April 2024
• 4th payment of $2,485 AUD – due by 15 May 2024
• 5th & last payment of $2,485 AUD – due by 1 June 2024

*Please ensure you have comprehensive travel insurance before your deposit is paid to ensure your deposit is covered by your insurer in the event you cannot attend the tour. Please check the terms and conditions of your policy before purchase.

What’s not included but mandatory to be provided by the player/parents

• International travel insurance – proof must be submitted along with the 5th and final payment
• A valid passport copy with at least 6-month expiry date from the date of departure – must be submitted along with the 5th and final payment
• All personal medical equipment/medications

Can parents accompany their children on the tour?

Absolutely! We have been coaching the game in Australia for over a decade and we know how important and enjoyable it is for parents to accompany their kids on a trip with such a unique opportunity.

It is important to remember however that we do not allow any parent interaction with players while they are training or competing. This is to ensure that the player experiences exactly what it’s like to be in a professional club academy environment.
